Skal Apero at Hotel Budapest on Tuesday 29. October 6.30h pm.

Dear Skalleagues,

Although a very small turn out, we had great discussions at this months meeting.

-Skalleague Andrey Lilov was presented by his colleague Inna Petrova, Business Development of the Urbo App.
-Intensive “digital discussion” with Elly Stoilova, who is very busy and successful with her Chatbot which already has proven better guest services and direct bookings to both, tour operators and hotels. She has a new comfortable business model for hotels
-We decided to add sponsors to our website and invite further sponsors
We thank Alexandra Dimitrova, General Manager of Hotel Budapest, for her splendid hospitality and the work to prepare the apero, and we are sorry that many of the confirmed attendants couldn’t make it at the end.
– we shall try, in future, to use the Urbo App’s event management function for the closed address circle of SI Sofia to communicate upcoming events.

Young Skål

Skål International cares about young professionals and students in tourism. In 1999, Young Skål was set up with the aim of creating a greater awareness of Skål International by those young people studying for or training in the various sectors of the travel and tourism industry, enabling them to join Skål.

  • Are you between 18 and 26?

  • Do you work in the hospitality industry?

  • Are you looking to enhance your potential?

The main idea constituting Young Skål is to attract young professionals to the organization and to turn them into active Skal members, once they reach the necessary qualification. The continuity of the movement can be secured by constantly recruiting new members. The members of Young Skål have the opportunity to participate in numerous activities, both in the hospitality industry and in related fields, such as culture, sports or PR. They will therefore have the possibilty of meeting Skål members and interact with them, voluntarily contributing to the general success of the organization. The young participants enjoy the support of the local Skål Club for social activities and for increasing professional experience, having at the same time the opportunity of connecting to an international network of professionals in the field.
