Henning Krippendorff has been the President of Skal Bulgaria since 2013

Hospitality since more than 30 years, growing professionally in the high class segment of Steigenberger Hotels KgaA (that time), operating, building and opening of hotels in Turkey, Thailand, North Africa, Egypt, Croatia, Bulgaria. As Director Operations for Iberostar Hotels and Resorts (Mallorca) supervising and being responsible for 8 countries, business development included. In 2004 heading the Capex and Operational structure development in a 45 properties Croatian group. Joining the management board of a hotel investment fund in 2006 with the priority to re-brand 2.500 rooms at the Black Sea Coast. Recently and together with friends and colleagues we did management turnarounds, group hospitality property assessments, market positioning, international hotel branding (management agreements), development of travel industry products, rehabilitation center and senior residency project preparation, investment memorandums.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

Stanley grew up in the key development of hospitality in the 1970’s in Bulgaria. He contributed to the international brand developments for Albena, Sheraton, Kempinski and New Othani before the political changes. With great enthusiasm for travel industry at a very early stage, he was the very first ASTA representative, also seeing what this country needed, he founded the only officially recognized National Organization of Spa Tourism in a country which doesn’t even know how to count the mineral water sources. Today he harmonizes with all neighbours around. His company is specialized in US outgoing, US and Asian incoming tourism.
